How do highly traumatised HIV positive gay men push their bareback agenda on the gay community?

Lets talk facts. Condoms have stopped thousands of HIV infections in the UK and compared to other parts of the world the campaigns, including the iceberg, have been an amazing success. HIV infection rates declined in the UK along with other STIs. Yet condoms are not seen as the answer to the spread of HIV for the gay community by the gay (ill)health unprofessionals. Why is this and how have they come to this bizarre conclusion? To analyse this you have to get deep into their condom hating psychology and twisted desires.

Lets face the facts, they hate condoms always have and always will. They are hardwired to hate them and want you to hate them too. That is why they are HIV positive but instead of accepting the truth of their bad sexual practices they wish to foist them on the gay community and normalise unprotected sex which they give an alternative name – “condomless” sex – to make themselves feel better.

How they see condoms

Any normal gay man would see a condom as a great way of protecting himself from HIV and other STIs, giving him confidence and removing the fear of infection. He would feel good that he is protecting his own sexual health along with that of his partner. It is a sign of respect and high self esteem. Part of a communal social responsibility of the gay community.

The highly traumatised mentally ill HIV positive bareback enthusiastic gay man however does not see condoms in this manner. The very sight of a condom is a visual representation of disease and creates anxiety for him. He is “triggered”. A vivid reminder of his infection which needs to be removed from the equation so he can have “the sex he wants”. He doesn’t want a condom used as it is a sign of his shame and guilt. He wants to remove the bareback “stigma”.

They will undermine condoms at every opportunity

Condoms were never the answer to preventing HIV infections they claim! We and any normal thinking gay men along with true professional doctors beg to differ. How do they come to this ridiculous conclusion?

The narrative they use is from their own bad sexual practices. They claim “gay men hate condoms”, a sweeping statement, and condom campaigns haven’t prevented HIV infections so therefore they haven’t ended HIV and it needs a “biological” intervention. This is an evil distortion of the truth of how condoms have been a great success story.

Secondly they claim condoms hamper the “pleasure” and “intimacy” and we need to be “sex positive” and remove the “fear”. However they conveniently ignore all the other STIs out there which are at record high. Don’t we “fear” them? It makes no sense.

Thirdly and the most evil of their bareback agenda is they undermine the effectiveness of condoms and will bang on about them failing, slipping off, ripping, causing erectile dysfunction (hello viagra!). They even claim they fail 25% of the time even when used properly to prevent HIV. If that was the case haven’t we been lied to for 30 years that it was safe to fuck a poz guy when in the 80s 90s they were highly infectious? Wasn’t the stigma against having sex with HIV positive gay men therefore justified and a good safe sex strategy?. They contradict themselves constantly.

You must realise that these HIV positive gay men in our so called “health” sector hate condoms as they are highly traumatised and mentally ill or just plain evil, you decide. They have spent their whole lives talking about HIV and seeking a cure so they can have unprotected sex and not use the evil condom. It hasn’t happened, very frustrating for them. Can you imagine every waking minute of your job is research, talking about HIV prevention when you yourself are HIV positive and failed to keep yourself safe? It must drive them crazy therefore condoms cannot be the answer. They are highly conflicted.

That is where PrEP comes in and it must not be questioned, challenged or analysed for the possible downsides, side effects or social consequences. They have highly politicised it to silence any dissenters to a reasoned debate. It’s simply that with PrEP we can “end HIV”. Which is a complete myth that needs to be questioned. The NHS has the PrEP trial with some interesting question and concerns to be answered, which are uncomfortable questions for the unprofessional bareback promoters. We wait and see how this plays out. In the mean time piss these gay men off and insist on a condom.
